Gloves are displayed in ounces (oz.) and the most common sizes are 10 oz, 12 oz, 14 oz and 16 oz. For a general rule, 10 & 12 oz gloves are most popular for bag/pad training while 14 and 16 oz gloves are used for sparring. With women usually using 14 oz and men using 16 oz.
