Sizing

As a beginner, one should first determine what needs you will be using the gloves for so that you can choose the correct size. Gloves are displayed in ounces (oz.) and the most common sizes are 10 oz, 12 oz, 14 oz and 16 oz. For a general rule, 10 & 12 oz gloves are most popular for bag/pad training while 14 and 16 oz gloves are used for sparring. With women usually using 14 oz and men using 16 oz.

Our 16 oz gloves are perfect for men and women. They are primarily used for sparring, mitt and bag work.

14 oz gloves are typically used by lighter fighters and women for sparring.

10 & 12 oz are great for mitt and bag work

It's more of a fist centric glove meaning the knuckle protection is amazing. Very dense foam is focused around the fist box allowing you to land bombs for long rounds.

The Velcro does lack support vs much more expensive Thai brands. Therefore in my opinion this is a great training glove for a more experienced fighter with wraps to help brace wrists.

I've hammered very dense Decha, Twins, Top King pads as hard as I can w the 16ozs for months and they held up very well. Velcro is still holding up, no peeling, and foamnis finally soft enough for lighter sparring or hard sparring w head gear and advanced partners.
